ONE JOHN FOUR

"HEREBY KNOW YE THE SPIRIT OF GOD: EVERY SPIRIT THAT CONFESSETH THAT JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH IS OF GOD: AND EVERY SPIRIT THAT CONFESSETH NOT THAT JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH IS NOT OF GOD: AND THIS IS THAT SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST, WHEREOF YE HAVE HEARD THAT IT SHOULD COME; AND EVEN NOW ALREADY IS IT IN THE WORLD." 1 JOHN 4/2-3.

The above is one of the most misused, misunderstood and misquoted scriptures in Holy Writ. Many are of the impression that if one is able to say (confess) that "Jesus Christ is come in the flesh", then one must be of God,...... conversely, if one is not able to say (confess) that "Jesus Christ is come in the flesh", then one must not be of God: (Math. 15/8, Mk. 7/6).

Have a little read of some of Creflo Dollar`s expunction (distortion, obliteration) of Holy Writ:

"Jesus Did Not Come As God And Was Not Perfect! If Jesus came as God, then why did God have to anoint him? If Jesus - See God’s already anointed. If Jesus came as God, then why did God have to anoint him? Jesus came as a man, that’s why it was legal to anoint Him. God doesn’t need anointed. He is anointing. Jesus came as a man and at age thirty, God is now getting ready to demonstrate to us and give us an example of what a man with the anointing can do.….Jesus didn’t come as God, He came as a man, and He did not come perfect.….But Jesus didn’t show up perfect. He grew into His perfection. You know Jesus - one scripture in the bible - he went on a journey, he was tired. You better hope God don’t get tired. Isaiah 50 says, 50, 60, somewheres says where we have a God who fainteth not, neither is wearied? But Jesus did. If He came as God and he got tired; He says he sat down by the well because he was tired. Boy we’re in trouble.….And somebody said, well, Jesus came as God! Well, how many of you know the Bible says God never sleeps nor slumbers? And yet in the book of Mark we see Jesus asleep in the back of the boat. (pause) Please listen to me. Please listen to me. This ain’t no heresy. I’m not some false prophet. I’m just reading this thing out to you of the Bible. I’m just telling you, you all these fantasy preacher have been preaching all of this stuff for all of these years and we bought the package! Here we have Dollar preaching and teaching a "damnable heresy", a "doctrine of devils" which says that Jesus "WAS NOT PERFECT", IN OTHER WORDS HE HAD SIN,.....JUST LIKE US AS A...............MAN IN THE FLESH: AND BECAUSE HE IS SAYING THIS, HE IS DENYING THE DIVINITY OF CHRIST, HIS INCARNATION AS THE GOD MAN, AND THE PURITY OF HIS SHED BLOOD; THEREFORE THIS DOCTRINE IS AGAINST CHRIST, ANTICHRIST, SPAWNED OF THE DEVIL: AND AS YOU CAN SEE, THIS MAN IS ACTUALLY IMPLYING A "CONFESSION THAT JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH", BUT HAD SIN AND WAS NOT GOD: (ALSO, AS YOU WILL READ, AT THE END OF THIS PAPER ONE WHO "CONFESSES THAT JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH" WORD FOR WORD, BUT DEMONSTRATES BY THE MANIFEST MURDEROUS HATRED IN HIS SUBSEQUENT WRITINGS THAT HE IS OBVIOUSLY NOT A CHILD OF THE ADOPTION, A BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN, A CHILD OF GOD).

BUT BOTH ARE OBVIOUSLY FALSE PROPHETS AND ANTICHRISTS, AND ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT OF GOD AS WE SHALL NOW REVEAL:

How can this be? doesn`t the scripture say that anyone who "confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh" is of God???????????????????????????????? We`ll start by looking at the meanings of a couple of words in the Greek:

"BELOVED, BELIEVE NOT EVERY SPIRIT, BUT TRY THE SPIRITS WHETHER THEY ARE OF GOD: BECAUSE MANY FALSE PROPHETS ARE GONE OUT INTO THE WORLD." 1 JOHN 4/1

"TRY", "dokimazo", to try, prove, discern, distinguish, approve, to put to proof, to examine. Amen. Zodhaites.

"CONFESSETH", "homologeo", to assent, consent, admit, to concede, acknowledge openly, profess, to confess Christ personally, meaning to profess or acknowledge HIM. Zodhiates. Amen.

IT INVOLVES A LITTLE MORE THAN JUST STRAIGHT UP LIP SERVICE, IF CREFLO DOLLAR BEING A FALSE PROPHET AND TEACHER CAN GIVE THE IMPRESSION THAT HE CAN "CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH" WITH HIS MOUTH, THEN WE HAVE TO LOOK A LITTLE DEEPER DON`T WE TO "TRY THE SPIRITS WHETHER THEY ARE OF GOD" OR NOT:

To start with, surely one has to do more than just see if someone can say with their mouth that "Jesus Christ is come in the flesh" if we are to discern, distinguish, approve, put to proof, examine a spirit to find out if he/she is of God or not? The word "confesseth" in 1 John 4/2-3 implies much more than just saying with the mouth that "Jesus Christ is come in the flesh",....it implies the confession of a personal relationship with Christ, intimate knowledge and a daily walk with the Son of God:

And this is right according to the whole of 1 John 4.

If you are to examine the whole of 1 John 4, you will see that the great Apostle spends most of this chapter telling us how to,........... "TRY THE SPIRITS", (INDEED THE WHOLE OF 1 JOHN IS REALLY ABOUT "TRYING THE SPIRITS", DISCERNING THE CHILDREN OF GOD FROM THE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL, THE OBVIOUS DIFFERENCE BEING LOVE, PURITY, LOVE OF CHRIST, AND THE BROTHERHOOD, RIGHTEOUSNESS, OBEDIENCE FOR THE CHILDREN OF GOD,... AND LOVE OF SELF AND THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD AND HATE OF FELLOWMAN, SIN, DISOBEDIENCE FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL).

First of all in 1 John 4 he is speaking to "The Beloved", Elect of God: verse 4: "Ye are of God, little children,"

THOSE WHO ARE NOT ELECT OF GOD WILL NOT UNDERSTAND AND MISUSE, MISQUOTE AND DISTORT THESE SCRIPTURES.

Then he says in verse 5,...........Number one, first cab off the rank in proving, testing, examining, discerning,....."TRYING THE SPIRITS",...................................

"THEY ARE OF THE WORLD: THEREFORE SPEAK THEY OF THE WORLD, AND THE WORLD HEARETH THEM."

WHAT DID JESUS SAY? "FOR OUT OF THE ABUNDANCE OF THE HEART THE MOUTH SPEAKETH." MATH. 12/34, LUKE 6/45.

"FOR WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS, THERE WILL YOUR HEART BE ALSO." MATH. 6/21, LUKE 12/34. " THEREFORE SPEAK THEY OF THE WORLD" BECAUSE THAT IS THE "ABUNDANCE OF THEIR HEART", "THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD", THAT IS THE "TREASURE" OF THEIR HEART:

The spirit of antichrist will only speak of and point to the things of this world, just as the purveyors of the prosperity dribble do, money, cars, planes, real estate etc.........because they LOVE THESE THINGS, AND BECAUSE IT IS OF THE WORLD,.................."THE WORLD HEARETH THEM", THAT IS WHY THEY CAN AMASS SUCH A GREAT FOLLOWING,.... "THE WORLD HEARETH THEM."

There are four distinct signs of someone who is in love: 1. They can`t stop thinking about the object of their affections: 2. They only want to do those things that please the object of their affections, in other words serve/obey: 3. They only want to be close to the object of their affections always:

AND 4. THEY CANNOT STOP SPEAKING ABOUT THE OBJECT OF THEIR AFFECTIONS:

THE ELECT OF GOD THINK AND SPEAK THE WORD OF GOD, HO LOGOS, JESUS THE CHRIST CONTINUALLY BECAUSE HE IS THE TREASURE OF THEIR HEART.

THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD: "AND THEY THAT ARE CHRIST`S HAVE CRUCIFIED THE FLESH WITH THE AFFECTIONS AND LUSTS". GAL. 5/24.

THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT SPEAKS OF THE THINGS OF THE WORLD AND CLOKES, TWISTS, BENDS AND PERVERTS HOLY WRIT TO ACCOMODATE THEIR IDOLATRY AND FORNICATION, ADULTERY WITH MAMMON (GAIN).

THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD: "IF YE THEN BE RISEN WITH CHRIST, SEEK THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE ABOVE, WHERE CHRIST SITTETH ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD. SET YOUR AFFECTION ON THINGS ABOVE, NOT ON THINGS ON THE EARTH." COL. 3/1-2.

No 2, in proving, testing examining, discerning,........"TRYING THE SPIRITS"........... Verse 6 he says "We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error."

THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT WILL NOT SIT STILL TO HEAR THE WORD OF GOD, DOESN`T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT IT, BUT THE ELECT OF GOD CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF THEIR BELOVED, JESUS THE CHRIST, THE WORD OF GOD:

No. 3, in proving, testing examining, discerning,..........."TRYING THE SPIRITS"........

Verses 7-8 he says "every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love".

(This also encompasses the love that expresses sharp reproof and rebuke when looking to correct, adjust those brethren who are astray.)

THE ELECT OF GOD LIVE, BREATH AND EXPRESS PASSION FOR LOVING FATHER SON AND HOLY GHOST AND THE BROTHERHOOD: MATH. 22/37-40, MK. 12/29-31. "A NEW COMMANDMENT I GIVE UNTO YOU, THAT YE LOVE ONE ANOTHER; AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, THAT YE ALSO LOVE ONE ANOTHER. BY THIS SHALL ALL MEN KNOW THAT YE ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YE HAVE LOVE ONE TO ANOTHER." JOHN 14/34-35.

THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT DOESN`T LOVE THE BROTHERHOOD, THEREFORE DOESN`T KNOW GOD; "FOR GOD IS LOVE". IT LOVES SELF AND THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD, PUTS ITSELF FIRST, LOVES PRE-EMINENCE, COMFORT, CANNOT DENY SELF OR THINK OF OTHERS FIRST:

No 4, in proving, testing, examining, discerning,......."TRYING THE SPIRITS"........ verses 9,10,14,15, a confession that "God sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might live through Him." "Sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." "Sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world."

"WHOSOEVER SHALL CONFESS THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD, GOD DWELLETH IN HIM AND HE IN GOD." (so it is a little more than confessing that "Jesus Christ is come in the flesh" with the mouth isn`t it: Remember? Creflo Dollar said that "Jesus didn`t come as God?").

No 5, in proving, testing, examining, discerning,......"TRYING THE SPIRITS"...... once more in verses 11,12,13,16,17,19,21, "we ought also to love one another." "If we love one another, God dwelleth in us," "hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit." "he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." "because as He is, so are we in this world." "Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment:" "There is no fear in love." "We love Him, because He first loved us."

THE ELECT OF GOD LOVE, LIVE AND DWELL IN LOVE WITH NO FEAR OF RETRIBUTION ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT, THEREFORE THEY DWELL IN GOD, AND HE IN THEM, ARE KNOWN OF HIM, AND KNOW HIM INTIMATELY:

IN VERSES 18,20, WE SEE THAT THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT HAS FEAR OF JUDGMENT, AND LIES, PRETENDS, FEIGNS LOVE OF THE BROTHERHOOD NOT BEING ABLE TO LOVE THE BROTHERHOOD, THEREFORE "HOW CAN HE LOVE GOD WHOM HE HATH NOT SEEN?" DO YOU YET SEE? IT IS MUCH DEEPER THAN A LIP SERVICE, SHALLOW, UTTERING OF THE WORDS FROM THE MOUTH THAT "JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH".

IN 1 JOHN 2/19 WE SEE THAT THE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL SEPARATE THEMSELVES FROM THE ELECT: IN 1 JOHN 2/3-5 WE SEE THAT LOVING FATHER`S CHILDREN OBEY/KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, THE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL DO NOT: IN 1 JOHN 3/3-10 WE SEE THAT LOVING FATHER`S CHILDREN DO NOT COMMIT SIN AND PURIFY THEMSELVES, THE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL COMMIT SIN AND DO NOT DO RIGHTEOUSNESS:

IN SUMMARY THE BELOVED, THE ELECT OF GOD SPEAK THE WORD BECAUSE HE IS THE TREASURE OF THEIR HEART: THE ELECT OF GOD HEAR THE WORD OF GOD EAGERLY: THE ELECT OF GOD LOVE GOD AND THE BROTHERHOOD: THE ELECT OF GOD CAN CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD WHO TOOK UPON HIMSELF THE LIKENESS OF SINFUL FLESH, WAS WITHOUT SIN, WENT AS A LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER, HUNG ON A TREE, DIED, SHED HIS BLOOD, BECAME OUR PROPITIATION FOR OUR SINS, OUR SIN OFFERING, ROSE AGAIN FROM THE DEAD ON THE THIRD DAY AND IS SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD ON HIGH AND IS COMING AGAIN FOR HIS BELOVED AND TO JUDGE THE WORLD: THE ELECT OF GOD HAVE NO FEAR OF HIS JUDGMENT BECAUSE HIS LOVE IS PERFECTED IN THEM: THE ELECT OF GOD DO NOT COMMIT SIN BECAUSE THEY ARE BEGOTTEN (BORN) OF GOD: THE CHILDREN OF GOD OBEY/KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: AMEN:

THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST SPEAKS OF THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD BECAUSE THAT IS THE TREASURE OF THEIR HEARTS: THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST CAN`T STAND TO HEAR THE WORD OF GOD: THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST DOESN`T LOVE THE PEOPLE OF GOD, ONLY PRETENDS TO LOVE THE BROTHERHOOD: THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST CANNOT CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD, (notice that Creflo Dollar said that "Jesus didn`t come as God?"), IS COME IN THE FLESH, DIED AND SHED HIS BLOOD FOR OUR SINS, ROSE AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY, IS SEATED ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD ON HIGH AND IS COMING AGAIN FOR HIS BELOVED AND TO JUDGE THE WORLD: THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT FEARS THE VERY THOUGHT OF JUDGMENT DAY, AND A SPIRIT OF HATRED MANIFESTS TOWARDS GOD`S ELECT: THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT COMMITS SIN, "DOETH NOT RIGHTEOUSNESS": THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT DISOBEYS, DOESN`T KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT SEPARATES FROM THE ELECT OF LOVING FATHER:

Again, the whole of 1 John is really distinguishing between the Children of God and the children of the devil: "TRYING THE SPIRITS".

You must make a good confession immediately before the LORD of the exact KJV wording; not "has come" or "came" or a doctrinal explanation or testimony or in quotes or anything else ... just a pure, simple confession before the LORD that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.

That is not a good confession according to I John 4:2.

In your much answering, you failed to confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.

According to God, creator of the heaven and earth, my faith and spirit was already manifest by my obedience to his words, specifically, I John 4:2.

Your true faith is still in question, because I know not whether you have the Spirit of God. (I John 4:3)

You yourself plainly stated in your own statement of faith, " Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud and giveth grace to the humble." (I Pet. 5:5)

So once again, subjecting myself to you as to a brother:

I confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.

What is your confession?

This is your second admonition. (Titus 3:10,11)

You do not have the liberty to tarry.
