ONCE WERE WARRIORS
Have we forgotten to fight the good fight?
With all our strength and with all our might?
We once were warriors with our armour on,
But now we are compromisers, our love for Him gone:
We once stood up and declared Him to all,
Standing in strength as us He did call;
We ran to Him with arms outstretched wide,
Now we are in sin, behind every rock we hide:
Why are we taught things that are not so?
So many falsehoods, from the pulpit lies grow;
To keep the sheep compromised, their lamps grow dim,
It`s the retention of the dollar, to keep them in darkness and sin:
But now there seems to be a complacency about,
They teach the good things, they dare not shout,
Not teaching of God`s wrath, it may empty the pews,
The pennies would disappear, they`d rather lie to you:
We once were warriors, standing mighty and tall,
Fighting His battles until we did fall;
If it meant losing everything, a legacy paid,
We stood tall and were counted, His foundation was laid:
Let`s put on our armour and fight the good fight,
Preachers and parishioners standing up for what`s right,
Tell of His love, but also of His wrath,
Have the courage of your conviction, and not compromising sloth:
“Yet I had planted thee a noble vine wholly a right seed;
How then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange
Vine unto me? Jer. 2/21. Saith the Lord:

CLOTHED IN THEIR ARMOUR, BUT NOW HAVE DEGENERATED TO BEING CLOTHED WITH PRETENCE, HYPOCRISY, THE SMELLY, FILTHY RAGS OF ABOMINABLE, REPETITIOUS, RITUALISTIC, RELIGIOUS TRADITION:
Once “worshiped God in Spirit and Truth”, “making melody in their hearts”, “singing in Psalms and Hymns”, but now have degenerated into a mosh pit smoke and mirrors rock concert of the devil:
Once Pastors, Preachers and Teachers “spoke as the oracles of God”, but now have degenerated to compromise, convenient dogmas, doctrines of men, doctrine of the Nicolaitanes “which thing I hate” saith the Lord:
Once leadership spoke with boldness and authority, but now have degenerated to philosophy, vain jangling, ear tickling, people pleasing compromise:
Once Pastors spoke the “truth in love”, “earnestly contending for the faith”, but now have degenerated to “fables”, fairy tales, lies:
Once church leadership proclaimed self denial, but now have degenerated to preaching self exultation, self preservation, ease and comfort.
Once leadership preached fire and brimstone, warned of “the Wrath of God”, but now have degenerated into “don`t judge”, don`t offend, tolerate, your under grace, don`t worry about your sin:
Once Pastors and congregations behaved in a manner befitting Holy men and women of God, but now have degenerated into idolatry, adultery, covetousness, sin:
Once “walked by faith”, pleasing God, but now have degenerated to walking after their own “vain imaginations”:
Once leadership beat the drum of separation, being peculiar, apart from the world, loving not the things of this world, but now have degenerated to vile compromise with the “things of this world”, using the tools of the devil to win, attract and keep folk in their respective congregations.
Once the church was in submission to the Lordship of Christ, but now has degenerated into institutionalized, religious abominations controlled by puffed up arrogant would be superstars, men:
Once leadership preached “filthy lucre”, but now have degenerated into loving money, covetousness, God wants you to be rich:
Once the church was Holy, Pure, but now has degenerated into filth and sin:
Once leadership preached “Christ crucified”, preaching that focused wholly on Christ, but now has degenerated into focusing on the individual:
Once leadership were excited, loved “the Word of the Lord”, revelation, but now have degenerated to stumbling at “The Word”:
Once leadership were obedient to “The Word of the Lord”, but now have degenerated into rebellion and disobedience:
Once leadership taught “it is more blessed to give than to receive”, “God loves a cheerful giver”, but now has degenerated to a doctrine of conditional selfishness, “give so that you will receive”:
Once the church was “washed”, but now has degenerated to “wallowing in the mire”:
Once church leadership was hot, on fire for Christ, but now has degenerated into lukewarm, idolatrous, covetous, vacillating religious hypocrites:
Once leadership would only preach the “truth”, but now have degenerated into “damnable heresies”, “alluring through the lusts of the flesh”:
Once the people went to church to worship and love the Lord, get fed with “the Word of the Lord” and bless, impart “the Word of the Lord”, but now they have degenerated into going to church to lazily sit back and be entertained, have their ears tickled:
Once the church conformed to Holy Tenet and would not allow women to preach and teach from the pulpit, but now has degenerated into permitting Jezebel to have free reign, usurping authority, lording it over men:
Once the church loved Jesus with all their heart, but now have degenerated to being lovers of self:
Once leadership moved in power, but now have degenerated into a “form of Godliness, but denying the power thereof”:
Once the church feared God, sought the “honour that cometh from God only”, but now has degenerated into fearing man and receiving the honour that comes from men:
Once the church fought “the good fight of faith”, but now has degenerated into the lukewarm comfort zone of slothful mediocrity and ease:
Once leadership preached “the Gospel”, but now have degenerated to preaching tepid compromising sloth:
Once leadership`s priority was souls, purity, holiness, the truth, but now have degenerated into numbers, marketing and money:
Once the church was free, but now has degenerated into bondage in captivity:
ONCE WERE WARRIORS, BUT NOW ARE SLAVES, CAPTIVES:
THUS
SAITH THE LORD:
“YET
I HAD PLANTED THEE A NOBLE VINE, WHOLLY A RIGHT SEED;
HOW

FLOCK”, THE “HOLY REMNANT” WILL STAND WITH YOU AS NOAH DID?

YOU PERFECT AND UPRIGHT, AND DO YOU FEAR GOD AND HATE ALL EVIL AS JOB DID?

YOUR LIFE AND MINISTRY RESONATE WITH THE HOLY, RIGHTEOUS ATTRIBUTES OF THESE
