`                                   ONCE UPON A TIME:

                                                (A Grim Fairy Tale)

Thus saith the Lord God:

Once upon a time in a very dry and thirsty land not so very far away, there was a man who wanted to live forever: So he prayed to the Great God of Heaven and Earth who never does anything bad to anyone, and who makes everybody`s wishes come true. The Great God of Heaven and Earth who never does anything bad to anyone, and who makes everybody`s wishes come true, heard the man who wanted to live forever. The Great God of Heaven and Earth who never does anything bad to anyone, and who makes everybody`s wishes come true, started to talk to him about how he had to play a game from that time on if he wanted to live forever, but he had to play by the rules. The Great God of Heaven and Earth who never does anything bad to anyone, and who makes everybody`s wishes come true, granted the man`s wish, and gave the man a “Holy Commandment” to go and tell others how they could live forever too, because he wasn`t the only one who wanted to live forever. The Great God of Heaven and Earth who never does anything bad to anyone, and who makes everybody`s wishes come true, told the man to tell others the “good news” and to let The Great God of Heaven and Earth run things from now on if they wanted to live forever. The Great God of Heaven and Earth who never does anything bad to anyone, and who makes everybody`s wishes come true,  also gave the man a book of rules and instructions on how to play the game, telling him not to add or take away any of the rules of the book, but to teach the people exactly what was written in the book, and that they had to follow the rules of the book if they wanted to live forever.

So off went the man very happy and started to do what he was told, and, to his surprise, he found that as he told others the “good news,” they started to follow him as well because he was doing exactly what The Great God of Heaven and Earth who never does anything bad to anyone and who makes everybody`s wishes come true had told him to do; however, after a little while, the people started to complain to the man, that the rules in the book were very hard to do, so they persuaded the man that they could do some of rules in the book, but not all. Also they didn`t understand what a lot of the rules meant. They told the man that they would not be able to play the game if he didn`t change some of the rules and make it easier for them to play, for instance; the people found it very hard to accept that they probably had to be poor and be happy at the same time: “Do we have to do this” they asked? They also found it very hard to accept that they probably were going to suffer pain and be laughed at and become very unpopular if they follow the rules of the book which said they were to dress and look different from those that were not playing the game; and they couldn`t handle the fact that they were told to give up everything and bow down to The Great God of Heaven and Earth only: “But we like our teddy bears and dolls and trains, planes and automobiles” they said, “they are so much fun to play with, they make us sing and laugh and be happy, can`t you find anything in the book that says we can keep these things?” So the man went in to the book to search, and pretty soon he found that by looking at some of the rules, changing the meaning of some,  and leaving others out, he was able to tell the people what they wanted to hear, and to his amazement, he also found that because he changed the rules of the game and made it easier to play, many more people decided to follow him and play the game as well once they saw that they didn`t have to give up any of their toys. “Boy, that must please The Great God of Heaven and Earth who never does anything bad to anyone and makes everybody`s wishes come true,” he thought.

The people were very happy with the new rules and said “that`s not too hard to do, we will keep following you and playing the game as long as you keep teaching us these new rules, and we will continue to share our toys with you so you can go on doing what The Great God of Heaven and Earth who never does anything bad to anyone and makes everybody`s wishes come true told you to do, that is, to tell others about the game.” So in celebration of this great event the man made a “golden calf” for the people to see, every day reminding them of this wonderful compromise, that they now had a set of rules that they could do easily, thus they all deceived themselves into thinking that by playing the game to the new rules, they were all still going to live forever even after The Great God Of Heaven And Earth had told the man NOT TO ADD OR TAKE AWAY any of the rules of the book but to teach the people exactly what was written in the book. The man, however, reassured them continually, that they hadn`t lost their reward when some of them were concerned after they read the rules, and they knew that they were not keeping them. So everybody decided not to worry about it and just go on playing the game the way they had been playing it;   and so they all thought they were going to live happily ever after.

Does that little fairy tale sound familiar? It should: You tell it every Sunday from the pulpit full of ooey gooey humanism and mush; full compromising doctrine that “tickles itching ears:” I switch on the television and watch a myriad of religious programs all telling the same story: I visit fellowships and they  are all telling the same fairy tale! I`m tired of hearing the same old fairy tale; haven`t you got anything new to teach? If you`re going to tell fairy tales, at least come up with something new to listen to.

WHERE IS THE SWORD OF THE LORD IN THIS LAND THAT DIVIDES ASUNDER SOUL AND SPIRIT, JOINTS AND MARROW, DISCERNING THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART?

WHERE IS THE VOICE OF THE “TURTLEDOVE?”

WHERE IS THE VOICE OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD?”

WHO IS “SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE?”

WHO IS “EARNESTLY CONTENDING FOR THE FAITH?”

WHERE ARE THE WARRIORS CONTENDING FOR THE SOUL OF THIS NATION?

WHERE IS THE ORACLE OF GOD?

WHERE IS THE PLUMBLINE?

WHERE IS JUDGEMENT?

WHERE ARE THE WATCHERS?

WHERE IS “THE FEAR OF THE LORD?”

I`m sick of seeing and hearing this fairy tale being mirrored at least a thousand times over in this country every Sunday by men who have done an “Aaron” and weakened to the demands of the people and built a “golden calf” to worship and follow, compromising the “Holy Commandment delivered unto them.” “For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the Holy Commandment delivered unto them.” 2 Pet. 2/21. You`re nothing but “men pleasers,” not “God pleasers!” “How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?” John 5/44. Or to put in language that you hopefully will understand; How can you that love pre-eminence, recognition, acknowledgement, backslapping recommendations, acceptance, favour, approval friendship of the people, Mr. popularity, and will do anything to please them so you don`t get any argument, contention, rejection and risk losing them, how can you expect to receive the honour, approval, acceptance, confirmation and blessing of God only? because while you`re seeking the former, YOU`RE NOT LOOKING FOR THE LATTER:

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;” 2 Tim. 4/3. You have succumbed to the pressure of the masses and allowed yourselves to become those “teachers that tickle itching ears” and you have “turned away your ears from the truth;” thus you have “turned unto fables.” 2 Tim. 3/4. Allow me to tender to you Zodhiates annunciation of the meaning of the greek word for “fables” in the New Testament. “muthos,” Commonly rendered as a tale or fable, or that which is fabricated by the mind in contrast to reality. It is the word from which mythology is derived. There may be much “logos,” logic and reasoning, in a myth, in the NT however, the word myth does not have the meaning of being a vehicle of some lofty truth as in the early use of the word. Mostly used in the NT denoting a fable full of falsehoods and pretenses. Thus in 1 Tim. 4/7 fables are described as profane, and belonging to old women; in Titus 1/14 as Jewish fables; in 2 Pet. 1/16 to make or appear wise, the result of sophistry, cunning fables for the purpose of deceiving others. In 1 Tim. 1/4 and 2 Tim. 4/4, the use of the word is equally contemptuous. Although “logos” and “muthos” begin together with the thought, intelligence, mind, they part ranks since the first ends in the Kingdom of Light and Truth, and the second in the kingdom of darkness and lies.

“Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions rather than Godly edifying which is in faith: so do. Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: FROM WHICH SOME HAVING SWERVED HAVE TURNED ASIDE UNTO VAIN JANGLING;” 1 Tim. 1/4-6. (“jangling,” “mataiologim” and means a vain talker, EMPTY conversation, babbling.

Is this you???? I know it is: When I listen to you, all I hear is the din of a clanging gong on the side of an empty vessel while I watch sheep muzzling around on the ground trying to find something to eat. My father used to say to me when I was a child, “empty vessels make the most sound.” It`s true, listening to all of you is like listening to someone who has “rocks rattling around in his head.” Listening to any one of you is like listening to “the crackling of thorns under a pot,” Ecc. 7/6.

HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO REMAIN A “VAIN TALKER AND DECEIVER?”  Tit. 1/10.

HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO REMAIN A PURVEYOR OF DECEIT AND HERESY? 2 Pet. 2/1-3.

HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO BE A SALESMAN FOR THE DOCTRINE OF “LOVE OF SELF?” 2 Tim. 3/2-5.

HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO “HOLD THE TRUTH IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS?” Rom. 1/18.

“HOW LONG HALT YE BETWEEN TWO OPINIONS?” 1 Kings 18/21.

Be assured there is a famine in this nation for sure; and the Lord has sent it. “Behold the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, BUT OF HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it. Amos 8/11-12. (doesn`t that picture fit church goers all over the nation right now, running from church to church looking for pasture.)  How long are you going to live in fairy dairy land??? How long are you going to live on “fantasy island?” How long are you going to permit this condition? Till Nebuchadnezzar comes and steals away all the vessels of the Lord out of the temple? And Jerusalem is smashed and the walls broken down and the gates burned with fire and the people are carried off into captivity completely, and the enemy is able to “take the people captive at will?” 2 Tim. 2/26.

AREN`T YOU HUNGRY ENOUGH YET????

AREN`T YOU THIRSTY ENOUGH YET????

GET HUNGRY!!!!        GET THIRSTY!!!!

“AWAKE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS AND SIN NOT;” 1 Cor. 15/34.

If you truly love Jesus and are sincere about the soul of this nation, you will do something about it; TO-DAY!!!!!  “Behold now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation.” 2 Cor. 6/2.

“NOW IS THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD.” Luke 4/19.

                                                            REPENT!!!

AND BE BAPTISED AND GET HOT FOR JESUS: Amen.

Oh, I`m sorry, you want to know what to repent of….   READ THE BOOK “HOW DARE YOU” AGAIN, OR CLICK ON TO IT ON THIS WEBSITE AND READ IT.
