Whew,.....another so called Bible translation has hit the
market place, "The Message" by Eugene Peterson. Among other things,
one of the obliterations of truth that is expounded in this piece of literary
hogwash is the elimination of references to the word "Lord" out of
"The Lord Jesus Christ and "The Lord God" replacing it with the
word "master",... now reading "Master Jesus Christ" and
"Master God"???? Now doesn`t
that just reek of new age dogma:

Loving Father "preserves" His Words and they were
written for us, translated in 1611

Up here on the mountain where we live, we have a local rag
that is published every week and delivered to the households free of charge.
The "Letters to the Editor" usually are filled with nothing but the
usual complaints, sometimes gratitude expressed, and every once in a while
something worth mentioning and passing on is written as follows:
"Dear Editor,
In the Sunday 13th
March in an interview, Julia Gillard said that 'If you put a tax on something,
then people will use less of it'.
Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Just look at cigarettes, liquor, petrol, water, stamp duty on new houses,
