just a sample of humanistic wise cracks that appear on church advertising notice
boards all over this country every week. I might add, not one of these sayings
are original, they are taken from books written by others, a fair indication
that those that purvey them have nothing, zilch, zip, zero from “The Father of
Lights,” because if they did they would MINISTER “THE WORD OF TRUTH” THAT “LIKE A HAMMER BREAKS THE ROCK IN PIECES,”
THAT “IS LIKE A FIRE,” THAT “IS SHARPER THAN ANY TWO-EDGED SWORD,” THAT
“ABIDETH FOREVER,” THAT CONVICTS SINNERS, CAUSES PEOPLE TO GET IRRITATED,
UPSET, ANGRY, FILLED WITH MADNESS AT THE PREACHING……….SAVES!............ THE
MEDICINE FOR SIN IS NOT SOME HUMANISTIC PHILOSOPHY, TRYING TO SMOOTH OUT THE
BUMPS AND HUMPS IN SINNER`S LIVES………….THE MEDICINE IS THE COLD HARD TRUTH………YOUR

In the midst of
communities that are trapped in sin, sick, mentally, emotionally and physically
disabled, alcoholic, drug addicted, child abusive, spouse abusive, adulterous,
pornographic, covetous, idolatrous, having consciences seared to their sin,
this is the best that these religious ding-a-lings can come up with to witness
to sin sick communities on a one way ticket express ride straight into the
bowels of hell: The “vain jangling” has about as much persuasive power as a
door to door Avon Sales Rep. These so called “ministers” have no answer, are
too compromised in their relationships in their respective communities to dare
to preach the truth…….too cowardly to preach fire and brimstone………are more
afraid of men than God, “having men`s persons in admiration because of
advantage,” Jude 16……..would rather “receive the honour that comes from men,
than the honour that comes from God;” John 5/44…….. wouldn`t dare offend
anybody with “THE WORD,” cannot surrender and trust
