TRANSFORMING THEMSELVES INTO THE APOSTLES OF CHRIST. AND NO MARVEL; FOR SATAN
HIMSELF IS TRANSFORMED INTO AN ANGEL OF LIGHT. THEREFORE IT IS NO GREAT THING
IF HIS MINISTERS ALSO BE TRANSFORMED AS THE MINISTERS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; WHOSE
END SHALL BE ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS.” 2 COR. 11/13-15.
“TAKE HEED THAT NO MAN DECEIVE YOU. FOR MANY SHALL
COME IN MY NAME, SAYING, I AM CHRIST; AND SHALL DECEIVE MANY.”
MATH. 24/4-5. Meaning, many shall be preaching Christ, pointing to Christ,
sound true, but they are false Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, false brethren and
shall deceive many.
Watching the ACC channel on fox the other night, we witness one David Pawson, virtuously extolled as the UK`s foremost authority on the New Testament and as one whose primary vision is to see the church, (the “old and the new”), unified, conducting itself according to New Testament Doctrine.
Primarily he speaks about the last century, the restoration of the “gifts of the spirit” to the church, tongues, healing etc., manifesting in a new way to established religious institutions around the world, then making mention of the “new” being tagged Pentecostals.
He expounds that for the first half of the 20th century for the most part Pentecostals were viewed suspiciously, persecuted and reviled even by the established church Amen. Then he exposes how that in the latter half of the 20th century how the “old” moves from persecution and suspicion to tolerance and finally acceptance of the Pentecostal movement, finally, stating, he believes the next move to be one of not only acceptance, but an assimilation of the “old with the new”.
The above is an observation that testifies to an attitude in the religious abominations worldwide for the most part that is in a sense, true, this coming from the “old” watching the “new” grow at a sparkling rate of pace with liberties and freedom of worship unparalleled in the “old”, hence a desire on the part of the “old” not to be left behind, believing that “there must be something in this”, wishing to accommodate, partake of, marry into the “new”, and not miss out.

We see two things happening here, the “old” not willing to abandon “religious tradition” (“FULL WELL YE REJECT THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD, THAT YE MAY KEEP YOUR OWN TRADITION.” MK. 7/9, trying to embrace the “new”, and the “new”, once realizing they have acceptance, honour from the old, reveling in the fact that they no longer appear “peculiar, set apart”, odd, strange, REJECTED, but now have found creditability, RECOGNITION, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT in the eyes of established institutionalized hypocrites and heretics. John 6/44.
The obvious “vain imagining” of this religious, lukewarm, balanced, accommodating, treading the moderate line heretic, this scholastic exhibitionist is to see the church unified under the banner of a New Testament Church deluded into thinking you can take the “best of the old” and the “best of the new” to complete a picture of a true, full Gospel New Testament Church in the end times.

There is only one way the “new” is going to stick to
the “old”, and that is if the “new” compromises to accommodate the “old”, WHICH
IS EXACTLY WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING, AND THEREBY BECOMES DEAD WITH THE OLD, PERVERSE,
A CHURCH “HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS, BUT DENYING THE POWER THEREOF:” 2 TIM.

THE FIRST THING TO BE SAID ABOUT THIS IS THE “NEW`S” DELIGHT IN THE ACCEPTANCE, HONOUR AND CREDITABILITY EXTENDED TO THEM BY THE “OLD”:

It has always been the same throughout church history, Loving Father brings revival, then the “old” persecutes the “new”, then the “new” becomes “lukewarm”, COMPROMISES FOR THE SAKE OF HONOUR AND ACCEPTANCE OF MEN, ASSIMILATES INTO THE OLD THUS BECOMING,…DEAD, “HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS, BUT DENYING THE POWER THEROF,” BECOMING PRETENDERS, HYPOCRITES.

It is gross delusion to think that the “old” and the “new” can marry, assimilate, unify to become the true church, but then, that is exactly what Loving Father commands:
