CHILD OF CHRIST OR CHILD OF HELL
A LAMENTABLE TALE: We moved to the country at Loving Fathers` behest just over twelve months ago. So we could fund the ministry and eat, Loving Father gave me work driving a taxi for the local cab company. (Acts 18/3, 2 Thes. 3/8) For the past year I have been driving a particular client to and fro from one of the local pubs. (I might add the first time I saw this man, I knew he was an alcoholic, beetroot red face, always reeked of alcohol BEFORE I would take him to the boozer; you didn`t need the gift of discernment to see he was an alcoholic;) During the course of the months, I found out that he was once a member of a well known rock band, and that he still performed on a regular basis, to all the drunken, (Math. 24/49, Luke 12/45) in this particular pub. Having been part of the music industry myself when I was young, I was familiar with the names, music, venues, etc., that he mentioned in passing discussion. His conversation becoming especially animated upon finding out prior to my conversion to Christ, I myself was involved in rock bands.
About one month
ago, this man decided to hold a benefit for a particular disabled lad to raise
funds to purchase a new wheel chair. He asked me if I would play keyboards for
him, I said I would give him an answer next week. As is my way, I asked Loving
Father what I should do. He answered me and said tell him that you are a Christian, and that the next time you play before an audience, it
will be for the glory of God. So
.next week, I did exactly as Father told
me to do;
.listen to this mans` reply:
ARE YOU? I`M A CHRISTIAN TOO, he says, with no sense
of shame:
After I picked
myself up off the bitumen and regained control of the taxi, I started to ask
this man some probing questions, such as, which church did you accept Christ as
your Saviour?

ANSWER
HARVEST CHURCH BUNDABERG.
I said really,
so you are familiar with speaking in tongues, prophecy, the gifts of the spirit
etc., having attended a pentecostal
church: Yes, he said, and then added,
..wait for it,
I`M A PASTOR TOO, THERE WAS A CHURCH UP THERE WITHOUT A PASTOR, AND
THEY ASKED ME TO PASTOR IT SO I DID:
Is that so? I said, and were you visiting the local pubs having a drink and playing the pokies too while you were pastoring this church? (another little piece of information gleaned over the months, he was a gambler as well as an alcoholic:)
OH YEAH,
.. I LIKE A DRINK:
.
YOU ALL KNOW WHAT`S COMING NEXT?

I proceeded to try to show him his gross error, (2 Tim
2/24-26) and bring about a sense of shame, (1 Cor. 4/14) which was probably
silly, seeing how he was intoxicated and had never experienced being born
again:
That night, I
was deeply troubled in my spirit by this, and while I was asleep, Loving Father
spoke to me, telling me what to do: ie, deliver His word to this man when he
was in better shape: This I did: His reply, or rather, REACTION? IT`S GOTTA STOP, NO MORE; (Acts 7/57, Heb. 12/20) THEN ON
ANOTHER OCCASION, A WEEK LATER, HE EXPLODES, REMONSTRATING ANGRILY, (LUKE 6/11,
ACTS 7/54,) TELLING ME,

So, here we have
a man, a product of certain pentecostal ministry, who is an alcoholic, a
gambler, who loves the pubs, the atmosphere, the drunks, who loves rock music,
who openly admitted to me that he cannot stop playing rock music or drinking,
and doesn`t want too, WHO HAS THE
DELUSION THAT HE IS A CHRISTIAN AND HAS ETERNAL LIFE AND THE PRESUMPTUOUS
AUDACITY TO THINK THAT HE IS A PASTOR AS WELL????????
I WONDER WHO TAUGHT HIM THIS? I WONDER WHO COACHED
(DISCIPLED) HIM? I WONDER WHO LAID HANDS ON HIM SUDDENLY! 1 TIM. 5/22. (they
must have been colour blind and had their nostrils pierced) I WONDER WHAT SORT
OF PERVERSE MINISTRY CONCOCTS SUCH A DOCTRINE THAT TAKES A SINNER AND ADDS ALL
SORTS OF PERVERSE BLASPHEMY AND HERESY TO HIS LIFE, MAKING HIM LOOK LIKE A SWINE
WITH A JEWELL OF GOLD IN HIS SNOUT?

THIS IS JUST ONE EXAMPLE OF THE FRUIT OF
PENTACOSTALISM IN THIS COUNTRY. MANY PENTACOSTAL CHURCHS (AOG, COC, CLC,
HARVEST, REHMA, LIVING WATERS, FAMILY CHURCHES, CHURCH FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY,
ETC., ) ARE PRODUCING THIS FRUIT BY THE SCORE: I DON`T HAVE TO BE IN YOUR
FELLOWSHIPS TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE PREACHING, I ENCOUNTER IT EVERY DAY ON THE
STREETS OF THIS COUNTRY:

WHEN IN FACT THEY ARE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL, CHILDREN OF HELL
